Severe cyclonic storm Nisarga is the strongest tropical cyclone to strike Maharashtra in June 2020. As of the travails of the Corona pandemic were not enough, Nisarga made a landfall near Alibaug on 3" June 2020 bringing untold devastation to life and property. The wind velocity was strong enough to destroy several roofs of institutions.

Several colleges affiliated to Mumbai University reported severe damage to their property and the destruction was too severe to restore normalcy quickly. The colleges appealed to other affiliated institutions to support them financially to recover. While funds poured in, the appeal to our Society was to give projection systems comprising of LCD and projection screen to 10 colleges in the Raigad district. The Society spent Rs. 3,38,280/- and provided the systems to 10 colleges, details as under :

• N. K. Varadkar College of Arts & R. V. Belose College of Commerce, Dapoli
• Sundarrao More College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Poladpur.

At a simple function in the Nerul campus on 8th August 2020, the Projection Systems were handed over to the Principals of the colleges.
